1. About these terms

These terms govern use of this website and tailoring services supplied under the Royal Ascot Windsor Men's Tailoring brand ("Royal Ascot", "we", "us" or "our"). The legal entity shown on your quotation, order form or invoice is your contracting supplier. By confirming an order, you agree to these terms together with the written quotation or order form.

If an order document conflicts with these general terms, the order document controls for that commission. Nothing here excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under UAE consumer-protection law.

2. Appointments and consultations

Website appointment requests are not confirmed until our team accepts them. Please arrive on time and notify us promptly if you need to reschedule. Home, hotel or office visits may depend on location and availability and may carry a disclosed fee. Style guidance is advisory; the final choice of cloth, design and specification remains yours.

3. Quotations, orders and payment

  • Prices, scope, estimated timings, deposits and payment milestones will be stated in your quotation or order form. Prices are in UAE dirhams unless stated otherwise.
  • An order becomes binding when you approve it and pay any required deposit.
  • Work may pause until an agreed payment is received. The balance is due at the stage stated on the order form and, unless agreed otherwise, before collection or delivery.
  • Fabric availability is not guaranteed until the order is accepted. If a selected cloth becomes unavailable, we will offer a reasonable alternative or refund amounts paid for the unavailable item.
  • Images and swatches are indicative; colour and texture can vary with lighting, screens, dye lots and the natural character of cloth.

4. Measurements, fittings and customer responsibilities

Bespoke and made-to-measure garments require your cooperation with measurements and fittings. You must provide accurate information, attend fittings within a reasonable time, check the agreed design details, and tell us promptly about relevant posture, footwear or body changes. Completion dates may move if fittings are delayed or specifications change.

A garment is assessed against the agreed measurements, design and reasonable tailoring tolerances. Personal preference discussed after production is not necessarily a defect, but we will try to accommodate reasonable changes, which may be chargeable.

5. Changes, cancellation and refunds

Because bespoke, made-to-measure and altered garments are personalised, cancellation or design changes after cloth has been ordered, cut or work has begun may result in deductions for completed work, committed materials and reasonable costs. Any applicable deposit treatment will be stated before ordering. We will explain the effect of a requested change before proceeding where practicable.

Personalised garments that conform to the order are not returnable merely because you change your mind. This does not limit any mandatory right you have where goods are defective, misdescribed, unsafe, or services were not performed with appropriate quality. Approved refunds will normally be returned through the original payment method where practicable.

6. Alterations, defects and remedies

Inspect and try on your garment at collection and contact us promptly if you believe it does not match the approved order or has a workmanship issue. We may need to inspect the garment before proposing an appropriate remedy. Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, this may include correction, re-performance, replacement or refund.

Normal wear, accidental damage, misuse, improper cleaning, weight or body changes, third-party alterations and the inherent characteristics of natural fabrics are not workmanship defects. Work on customer-supplied garments or cloth is undertaken with reasonable care, but existing weakness, prior alterations, hidden damage or insufficient seam allowance can limit the result. Any specific risk identified before work begins will be discussed with you.

7. Timings, collection and delivery

Completion dates are estimates unless we expressly confirm a fixed deadline in writing. Timing can be affected by fitting attendance, specification changes, cloth supply and circumstances outside our reasonable control. We will keep you informed of material delays.

Risk passes to you when the garment is collected or delivered to the agreed recipient. Please provide accurate delivery details. Reasonable delivery or storage charges may apply if disclosed in advance. We will contact you about completed garments that remain uncollected and handle them in accordance with applicable law.

8. Website content and acceptable use

Website content is general information and may change without notice. Product images, descriptions and availability are illustrative and do not form a binding offer. You may not misuse the site, attempt unauthorised access, introduce harmful code, scrape content, or infringe our or another person's rights.

Site text, branding, layout and original imagery are owned by or licensed to us and may not be commercially reproduced without permission. Third-party links are provided for convenience; we do not control their content or privacy practices.

9. Responsibility and events outside our control

We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach, subject to applicable law. We are not responsible for loss caused by inaccurate customer information, unauthorised alterations, misuse, or events outside our reasonable control. We do not exclude liability where exclusion is prohibited, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or mandatory consumer remedies.

10. Governing law, complaints and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. Dubai courts will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer forum or dispute-resolution right. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a complaint promptly; you may also contact the competent UAE or Dubai consumer-protection authority.
